My sister lives on the opposite side of the country from me (Washington state). I get to see her once a year if I’m lucky, and I was walking through the cafe at my school yesterday and she was just there. I love her so much, it’s been way too long ^_^

Taki, a senior at my school, was found dead on Saturday and it’s believed that he committed suicide. His vigil was this evening and the only word I can think of to describe it was breathtaking. I could just feel everyone’s emotion in the air. The candlelight (and the Metallica) were kind of perfect. Everyone, of course, was crying and stricken with grief- but it was the kind of sadness throughout the crowd that provided an odd kind of closure. Although I can’t say I was extremely close to him, I just know he would’ve been happy. Rest easy, Taki. Zoom
